Who is responsible
Everyscroll is operated by loum4x, an independent developer based in Finland, who is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
Server logs: when you load a page or start a download, our web server records your IP address, the time, the address requested, the response, your browser's user agent and the referring page. We use these logs to keep the service running and to stop abuse. They are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Links you paste: the X, Instagram or Snapchat link you paste is sent to our server to find the video. It is not written to our logs and is not kept after the request ends.
Abuse protection: our server briefly counts requests per IP address in memory to limit how often downloads can be started.
Errors: if something fails, technical details of the error may be kept in a size-limited log so we can fix it.
Cookies
Everyscroll uses no advertising or tracking cookies. When you start a download, the site sets a functional cookie for up to 4 minutes so the page can tell you whether the download started. It contains only a random identifier and the result.
Analytics
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or build profiles of visitors.
Services involved
Cloudflare delivers our pages and protects the site, so it processes your IP address and request details. Cloudflare may process this data outside the EU, with the safeguards described in its own privacy policy.
Hetzner hosts our server in Helsinki, Finland. Downloads are prepared and streamed there.
X, Instagram and Snapchat: to show a preview, your browser loads the video thumbnail directly from the platform, which can see your IP address. Videos themselves are requested by our server, not by your browser.
Legal basis
We process this data based on our legitimate interest in providing a working and secure service (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. Because logs contain no names or accounts and are deleted after 14 days, we may not be able to link them to you.
You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman at https://tietosuoja.fi.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes. Last updated: 25 October 2026. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
